When I started my coaching practice, I did so because I felt a strong passion for working with others around the mind-body connection. I wanted to create hope for others who had suffered in the ways I had, because it was such a fabulous experience to discover I could positively affect my own healing process. The mind-body tools opened doors for me that I didn’t even know existed, and I felt deeply called to coach others who wanted the same freedom.

Over the last several years, an interesting shift happened within my clientele. More and more coaches, acupuncturists, massage therapists, therapists, and others with similar careers showed up in my practice. A large number of them are also feeling the call to deepen their understanding of the mind-body connection so that they can help others do the same. My coaching practice has started to revolve mostly around mentoring and teaching other healers.

I hadn’t really clearly defined this shift until recently, but the new project I’m working on (creating a mind-body community) led to a decision to create a new website. In creating the new website (still in progress!) I discovered that I didn’t feel very clear around my “niche” anymore. It seemed to have changed, morphed, and become a part of the blob of confusion that is my post-birth mind. (Giving birth and becoming a mother kind of changed…everything.)

So, I called up my amazing friend and fabulous niche-specialist, Bev Barnes . I thought we were going to coach around my coaching niche and then, voila, it would all be sorted out. Done. Easy.

Instead, we got on the phone and I had a motherhood meltdown. (Today’s revelation – these are now a regular part of my life that actually need to be scheduled into my calendar.) We did not even talk about my niche, but the motherhood meltdown led to ensuing insights, clarity and discovery. I became much clearer about who I am, right now, as a mother. At least for this week, that is!

Post meltdown, I did a meditation practice using my mind-body tools. In that space of connection to the greater wisdom, I saw the answer to my niche question. And once I saw it, it was a forehead smack moment, for sure.

I saw that my soul mission is to work with healers around their own well-being, so that they can do their work in the world. So that they are able and well, strong and in their center, ready to connect to those who need their magic. I heal the healers.

My work has evolved to a somewhat eclectic mix of coaching, channeling, energy work, and something I can’t even name (I see the energy within the body and it lets me know what it needs to flow optimally). This mix is highly effective with healers, and I absolutely love working with healers, be they coaches, energy workers, therapists, yoga teachers, or anyone else doing work along those lines. I do work with a lot of coaches, since they are in my network daily. But all healers are so much fun to coach/whatever it is I do now.

When I am working with a client, I often get clearly channeled messages for the larger community of healers. I’ve been writing those down, and I think it’s probably time to start sharing them, even if it does feel a little odd to admit that out loud! It’s always been fun to coach, but now, it’s getting REALLY FUN. I am co-creating with the bigger wisdom by stepping aside and letting it flow through. I experience so much healing myself, and insight, in that experience as well. That’s not all that surprising, but the amount of fun involved kind of is!

This is all a round-about way to fill you in on what I’ve been up to, because I’m creating a lot of new things, now, for you healers out there. Now that I’m clear on my soul mission (and VERY fired up about it), I can hardly sit still. And if you think to yourself, “Shoot, I love this mind-body stuff, but I’m not sure I’m a healer…” then prepare yourself. You ARE one! Whether you’re actively doing your thing in the world or not doesn’t matter. So many healers are struggling, just like I have, with their own well-being. They’re struggling with confidence, like I have. They’re struggling with owning their healer-ness, or simply stepping into their soul mission.

It’s kind of a complicated topic. We’ll probably need a few more blog posts on this one, I’m thinking!

I’ve noticed there are two major struggles for healers.

1)     Figuring out their own soul-mission, owning it, stepping into it, and feeling worthy of it.

2)     Figuring out what their body is trying to show them via physical symptoms and getting into the flow of well-being so that they are physically able to do their soul mission.

Number two in that list is my area of passion. Number one – well, for that one, y’all need Bev Barnes .  Except, here’s the thing. The two are SO interconnected! If you figure out what your body is trying to show you and you begin to know yourself, your needs, how to take care of yourself, and follow/trust your intuitive guidance, you are on the path to figuring out your soul mission. This is why my recent mom-meltdown and subsequent use of the mind-body tools led to the breakthrough around my soul mission.

With all of this clarity in mind, I have created my offerings in 2014-2015 to really help you move through these struggles and the other challenges that tag along with these larger issues.

For those of you who are feeling called to be a mind-body coach (it doesn’t matter if you’re not sure where you’ll specialize with that just yet), I’ve created the mind-body coach training . You’ll go very deep into your own mind-body connection and emerge with tools, clarity, and your feet firmly planted on the path to well-being.

For those of you who don’t want to become a coach, exactly, but you want in on this mind-body thing, well, the mind-body community will be your place! It will be open to coaches, healers, and anyone who wants to learn more about themselves, their mind-body connection, and connect more directly with their inner wisdom.

And for those of you who would like some in-person, intensive support, I’ve created a brand-new retreat with…Bev Barnes. Because a lot of magic happens when you put her soul-mission with mine! It’s called What’s YOUR Thing? The Retreat

Now that the structure is in place for the support I’d love to give, it’s time to hear from you! What are you most frustrated with around your well-being, your soul-mission, your spiritual growth process, or anything else that is a part of this awakening journey? (Because really, that’s what we’re talking about here! We’re talking about opening up to the wisdom of consciousness more and more…and we do that by embracing and allowing the human experience.)

Feel free to comment right here or send an email! The more feedback I get from you, the more clearly I can tailor the tools and concepts I bring to each area of support I’m creating. Then, you will be able to embrace YOUR soul-mission, too, and feel well enough to do so. And that is a very, very good thing.
